Here’s a gallery of some vector-based t-shirt designs. I use my eye for logo design to creating simple, iconic graphics that can quickly convey a message.
These designs are also made to be quick and easy to setup on a screen printing press. My design process takes into account the type of inks, screen meshes, screen order, and shirt material to produce top quality t-shirt designs.
Here are a few raster image-based t-shirt designs. Instead of using vectors, they were created with pixels and separated to print with specific spot colors to create the illusion of a four color process print, but without the complications that often come with four color process, like color balance issues, screen alignment mishaps, moire patterns, etc. I learned the finer points of this process in action when I worked as a graphic designer at a high volume screen printing company.
